Privacy Policy

This document sets out the rules for processing and protecting personal data of potential and current business partners (particularly customers and suppliers) of Pineccy Sp. z o.o., hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller.

I. Definitions

  • Cookies - means IT data, in particular small text files, saved and stored on devices through which the User accesses the Service's websites.

  • Service - means the website owned by the Data Controller.

  • Device - means the electronic device through which the User accesses the Service.

  • User - means an entity using the content and functionalities available in the Data Controller's internet Services, or on whose behalf services may be provided electronically in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and legal provisions, or with whom an agreement for the provision of services by electronic means may be concluded.

II. Data Controller

In processing personal data, the Data Controller applies the principles set out in applicable laws, in particular the Act of 29 August 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC ("GDPR").

IV. Purposes of Processing and Storage Period

The Data Controller processes personal data solely to acquire customers/suppliers, handle offer processes, orders/contracts, and after-sales service for offered goods and services, as well as to send personalized commercial information, in particular for:

  • Creating an account on the website.

  • Personal, telephone, or email contact.

  • Sending ordered informational, advertising materials, and offers.

  • Fulfilling orders/contracts.

  • Handling service or warranty claims.

  • After-sales service.

  • Potential claims enforcement.

  • Adapting websites to Users' needs.

  • Creating reports and analyses on website functionalities, including viewership statistics.

Data will be stored for the period necessary to fulfill contracts, including warranty and post-warranty services. After that, data are retained solely for claims enforcement and sending personalized commercial information.

V. Scope and Method of Data Storage

The Data Controller collects personal data during customer/supplier acquisition, offering, order/contract fulfillment, and after-sales service. Data include, among others: name and surname of natural persons (including sole proprietors), their address, NIP, contact person's name and surname in the company, position, department, email, and phone; when using the websites, also the IP address of the User's device. Data are stored by the Data Controller in a format allowing their transfer.

Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to use selected website functionalities and for sending offers, fulfilling orders, contracts, service/installation services, etc.

No transfer of acquired personal data to third parties occurs unless necessary for proper contract performance, claim handling, warranty/ guarantee repairs, or sending catalogs by traditional mail-particularly to transport, forwarding, courier, installation, and service companies.

The Data Controller entrusts storage and/or processing of personal data mentioned in the Privacy Policy, based on a written agreement, to entities providing services such as hosting, automated marketing, and website content optimization on its behalf.

With separate User consent, personal data are processed to receive commercial information, particularly the ordered newsletter via specified email.

VI. Automatically Collected Data

The Data Controller informs that during use of its websites, data are also collected automatically, via Cookies and automated marketing systems.

From the moment of User connection to the Service, system logs record, among others, the User's IP number and end device type. The Data Controller lawfully processes data on IP number, device type, connection time, and other operational data on User activity for technical purposes to adapt the Service to User needs and collect general statistics on Service operation.

The Data Controller uses Cookies for:

  1. Service configuration

    • Adapting website content to User preferences and optimizing use.

    • Recognizing the User's device and location to display tailored pages.

    • Remembering User settings and personalizing the interface (e.g., language or region).

    • Remembering visited pages for content recommendations.

  2. Essential processes for full website functionality

    • Adapting content to preferences and optimizing use; recognizing device parameters.

  3. Ensuring service security and reliability.

  4. Presenting multimedia from external sites like www.youtube.com [Cookie administrator: Google Inc., USA].

  5. Collecting anonymous statistics via Google Analytics [Cookie administrator: Google Inc., USA].

  6. Using interactive features for Service promotion via Facebook.com [Cookie administrator: Facebook Inc., USA or Facebook Ireland, Ireland].

  7. Profiling advertising content based on User interests.

Users can change location sharing and Cookie settings anytime via browser settings, blocking automatic handling or receiving notifications. Detailed Cookie management info is in browser settings. Users can delete Cookies using browser functions; restrictions may affect some website functionalities.

VII. Rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Objection, and Portability

Anyone whose data are collected may request from the Data Controller:

  • Access to their personal data.

  • Rectification of personal data.

  • Erasure of personal data.

  • Restriction of processing.

  • Objection to processing.

  • Data portability.

Users may object to processing, particularly profiling. Contact: biuro@pineccy.pl. Requests are fulfilled within 30 days, extendable to 90 in justified cases. Note: erasure, restriction, portability, or objection may impact services and prevent fulfillment, except for legally binding obligations like claims.

VIII. Data Security

The Data Controller ensures high-level data processing security for Clients. Report security incidents to biuro@pineccy.pl.

Data storage/processing is entrusted by written agreement to providers of hosting, automated marketing, website optimization, and for orders/claims: transport, courier, installation, service companies.

IX. Final Provisions

Anyone whose data are collected may complain to the supervisory authority if processing violates data protection laws, such as the Personal Data Protection Act or GDPR.

The Data Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy by publishing a new version on the site.
